The Governor’s Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation (LCI) is proud to partner with Indigenous Futures Society (IFS) to support California Tribal Staff, Cultural Practitioners, Youth, and Elders attending the inaugural Resilient California SummitOct. 20–22, 2026, in Sacramento.

The Resilient California Summit will serve as the official public release of California’s Fifth Climate Change Assessment and will showcase the work of the Tribal Research Program, including but not limited to the Fifth Assessment Tribal Advisory Group, Tribal Research Grant Program, and the Tribal and Indigenous Communities topical report!

  • When: Oct. 20-22, 2026
  • Early Bird Registration: Visit the registration page. 
  • Apply for the Tribal Scholarship: Fill out the scholarship form.

Tribal scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis to help cover travel, lodging, and registration costs. Apply or register by Aug. 21 for full consideration and reduced registration rates.
