  5. Item 5 | Adapting to Loss of Federal Funding

    DISCUSSION:

    Presentation and discussion of how communities are advancing climate resilience work in absence of federal funding. Speakers will highlight how federal changes are impacting the recovery from the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires and efforts to advance BRIC projects after the program was terminated.

    DISCUSSION:

    Presentations on the outcomes and lessons learned from the Adaptation Planning Grant Program (APGP) by grantees. Councilmembers will discuss the impact of APGP and how this work could inform other adaptation planning programs and initiatives.

  11. Item 10 | SB 254 Natural Catastrophe Resiliency Study Overview

    Presentation and discussion of the SB 254 Natural Catastrophe Resiliency Study activities and key themes to date. The Study evaluates and sets forth recommendations on new models or approaches to complement or replace the Wildfire Fund.
