The Extreme Heat and Community Resilience Program (EHCRP) is pleased to announce its second round of funding, made possible through the support of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund and Proposition 4. The goal is to fund and support local, regional, and Tribal efforts to reduce the impacts of extreme heat. The EHCRP will host a series of nine community input sessions in July and August to collect feedback on objectives, priorities, and overall design. Most importantly, they will ensure community needs and perspectives shape the grant development process. Once the notice of funding availability (NOFA) is released, the program will hold additional outreach sessions to answer questions about the application process and encourage participation.
